MJM Electric has been asked to assist with the electrical portion of installing a 30,000 square foot maintenance and operations complex at the Tampa Electric Big Bend site. This building will serve the new combined cycle units presently under construction.
MJM Electric will be installing the new interior lights which will be controlled by programmable ceiling mounted occupancy sensors and wall mounted motion sensors. These new controls are being installed by MJM Electric for energy efficiency.
TECO has very high standards for contractors and expects all of them to meet what can be challenging safety and quality standards. The estimated job duration for this project is approximately eight months and should be completed during Spring 2021.
